Hi all,
How can I implement dimming and ON/OFF control for the LED string by using LM3466? Any suggestions?

Hi Gaston Schelotto,
There is no dimming feature in the LM3466, which only equally share the current from a constant current power supply among each active channels. But if you adjust the current from the power supply, the LED current of each channel will also be vary accordingly. This can achieve analog dimming in a certain extend.

Hello, Im a student trying to learn through a LM3448 230v.6W evaluation board.
It was indicated in the datasheet http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snoa555b/snoa555b.pdf that the implementation included a Retrofit TRIAC dimmer
The datasheet also displayed the circuit operation using a forward phase TRIAC dimmer.
It would be of great help if someone could post the Prototype circuit of the Forward Phase TRIAC dimmer used. So i can learn practically through implementation.
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Vikram
sorry for the errant post here. I was responding to a different inquiry
2 different part numbers in the same thread therefore I will retract the previuos post and get a recommended dimmer for thr LM3448 EVM (230 VAC)
