The customer is working on EPS applications,

Regarding the Vcp section in the datasheet, there is a 10K resistor. If the resistor is not installed, what impact will it have on phase shutdown?

    Hi Vayne,

    Per your attached schematic captures above, it appears because you are utilizing the charge pump for reverse battery protection, you need a 10Kohm series resistor in order to protect VCP pin from reverse current from gate, in the case of a phase turn off such that VCP is "off", a.k.a, in high-Z state no longer providing charge pump voltage out.

    Without the appropriately sized series resistor, you risk this reverse current damaging the VCP pin as the pin itself cannot handle a current >100uA.
