I’m trying to access the FET registers to control the PDSG and PCHG FETs on the BQ76952EVM board using BQ Studio. Could you guide me on how to control these FETs and what register configurations need to be applied?

The PCHG & PDSG pins cannot be controlled manually while automatic protection is enabled. The can be controlled manually if automatic protections are disabled first used Test Mode register. This FAQ document goes into more detail in Section 2.9 BQ769x2 Frequently Asked Questions
