Hi,

I’m having an issue with a PSPICE model I’m trying to use — it seems to be encrypted, and I can’t get it to work in either TINA-TI or LTspice. Has anyone run into this problem before? Is there a way to make an encrypted PSPICE model compatible with these simulators ?

Hi Dorian,

It seems that there is only Pspice model for TPS61378-Q1 at TI.com.

There could be problems when using Pspice model on TINA or LTspice.

We are also not very sure about the conversion.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I don’t currently have access to SPICE software at my company. Typically, TI provides unencrypted models and/or TINA-TI models.

Since this model is encrypted, I’m unable to debug it directly. Could you please let me know if the Webench tool provides accurate results for phase / gain margins and the CCM/DCM operating regions ? This is what i am looking for..

Hi Dorian,

Sure, the Webench provides accurate for phase/gain margin result.

Also, you can use calculation tool.

But most of loop gain result are for FPWM or CCM,

when DCM situation, the loop is not so reasonable because we expend the frequency.
