Sorry for the delay.  We have an app note that give code examples to create the SPI frames which is really the most important part.  If you have specific requirements then we can recommend register settings and in what sequence to program them.

We are using this document, and it helps.  We have the basic SPI control of current setting, so we can keep progressing on the hardware, but there is sample code for the dev kit that is fully formed with all the registers, etc.

We are authorized to download the GUI app that goes with the dev kit, but the files did not contain the C code for the chip, just the GUI executable.

There have been a few people getting the source for the devkit from sources in TI according to the E2e forum.  I just cant seem to reach the right person yet.

Can you help find the source C code for the devkit MSP430?

We used the MSP432, but we can share that code, but I won't post it on the forum.  I will reach out to you via email.
