TPS4813-Q1: Need help.

Part Number: TPS4813-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

In the TPS4813 we have only one input pin from the microcontroller so can we not control both the channels individually and is there any sequence that the gate driver follows on being enabled like turning on the low current channel first and then the high current path ?

And for howmuch time dose the low current path stay on ?

Thank you,

Karthik.

  • Hi Karthik,

The LPM pin is the control for the low power path (G2). When it is low, low power FET is on and main FETs are off.

When LPM is driven high or when a load wakeup event occurs is when the device enters active mode and the main FETs can be turned on.

    Thanks,
