The datasheet shows that the recommended output current setting using RISET is 3-25mA:
But is it possible to use a higher RISET for output current in the range of 1-2mA? Is the concern just around accuracy or could there be other issues?
If not, are there any other devices that can be used with 0.5Hz blinking (1 second on, one second off) without PWMing? They are trying to just make a HW change and not also have to qualify a SW change. Today they do not use PWMing for dimming.
