Tool/software:
Hi,
I am working on a boost converter using push pull topology to drive my UCC27200 mosfet. I want to boost a 24V DC battery to 380V using a 100KHz transformer. I am driving my PWM using a C2000 lauch pad and with a duty cycle of between 50 % - 100 %. A snapshot of the ringing is below
The ringing is further amplified as the signal travels in the circuit. How can I reduce or eliminate the ringing? Is the ringing normal in the mosfet driver circuit of the topology? I have reveiwed my hardware design but the ringing persists.
We are using the tiduai7 (TIDA-BIDIR-400-12 Bidirectional DC-DC Converter) application report and Phase-shifted full-bridge converter fundamentals as part of the guide for our design . I have some futhre questions
1. Is the ringing on the UCC27200 common to both direction (boost and buck).
2. The clamp (active and passive) applicable to both topologies or it is only for buck converter
Thanks
