Hello

I'm looking for a simple second-level protector for a 3-cell-liIon-battery . Most important is, that there is a integrated cell-balancing function.

I think something simmilar like the bq29209 (for 2-cell). But after hours of searching i din't find the right ic...

Does anyone know such a part?

    The solutions we have today that cover 3 series cells and include cell balancing also come with full gas gauge functionality, such as the bq20z65. This can control the FUSE based on over voltage (and a few other features IF enabled too). Essentially the features you don't need can be disabled and still provide the CB and OV functionality.
