BQ25170: Charging IC with ability to Flash LED

Dear TI Support,

I was wondering if you offered any Li-Ion Charging IC's for a 1-cell that can flash an LED during charge, and then stay on to indicate fully charged?

Hi Kevin

The BQ2517X family of devices does not have this option.

What is your charge current and battery voltage?

I will check other devices, but this LED configuration is not common.

Hi Bill,

The charge current is only about 500mA (maybe up to 1A) and the battery voltage is a nominal 3.6V. Just a single cell, so charge voltage would be 4.2V.

Hi Kevin

Sorry but have not found a device that will blink LED during charging. This is often used for a fault condition on TI devices.
