Tool/software:
Hello,
I am a beginner working with the BQ25750RRVR buck-boost charger IC, and I am facing some issues with my custom board design.
-
When I supply 48V input from an adapter, the board makes a “tsk tsk” ticking sound, but the output is unstable and does not provide a proper 48V.
-
There is no short circuit observed.
-
The battery is also not charging.
-
Our circuit is designed such that:
-
If the input supply is less than the battery voltage, the board should select the battery as the input supply.
-
Otherwise, it should select the adapter as the input supply and also charge the battery at the same time.
-
-
However, currently neither charging nor proper output from the battery path is happening.
Could you please guide me on:
-
What might be causing the unstable output and ticking sound?
-
Are there any key register settings, schematic considerations, or test configurations I should check?
-
How can I confirm whether the IC is functioning correctly?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.6521.PCB - Power Board.pdf
