I am designing a BLDC motor control circuit with protected input and switching using TPS48130QDGXRQ1. The diagram is as shown in the attached image. The Under Voltage lockout, Short-Circuit Protection, Load ON/OFF functions work normally. But the input reverse polarity protection function does not work. When I reverse power supply to test, Q3 is destroyed. and if left for a long time, R1 is also destroyed. The question is as follows:
- What is the cause of Q3 failure?
- How do I modify the reverse polarity protection function of TPS48130QDGXRQ1 to work properly.
