We are encountering an issue with the UCD90160A where voltage rail configured with a "Max Turn ON Time" of 30ms consistently trigger a TON_MAX_FAULT flag on Power ON.
This fault causes the slaved fault voltage rails to enter an indefinite resequencing loop, due to the settings of Ton_Max Fault Responses.
We have experimented with various "Max Turn ON Time" values ranging from 30ms to 200ms, but the fault persists. However, when the value is set above 200ms, the issue no longer occurs.
We have measured the voltage rail behavior relative to the corresponding Enable signal from the UCD, and observed a turn-on time of approximately 12.5ms, well within the configured 30ms limit. I have attached the image for same.
Could you please assist us in understanding why the TON_MAX_FAULT is being triggered despite the measured timing being within the specification?
