TPS65000-Q1: Similar LDO Info

Part Number: TPS65000-Q1

Tool/software:

Dear Team,

Can I get to know whether there are any similar IC TPS65000TRTERQ1 are available with 3 output as LDO.
I need 2.8V , 1.8V and 1.15V with all as LDO, because of the compact size we cant add any inductor in our design.
I need it in smaller package , as small as possible.

Regards,
Irfan

  • Hi Irfan,

Smallest package size with at least 3 LDOs would be LP8720:

    • It has 5 LDOs and one Buck
    • Each LDO supports up to 300 mA
    • 2.75 x 2.25 mm
    • It can have the following default output values when the DEFSEL pin is floating:
    • If 1.2V on LDO4 is not acceptable for the 1.15V requirement, the voltage level can be configured via I2C before EN is enabled, while device is still in standby mode.

    Otherwise, a user-programmable option would be TPS6521905

    • 4 LDOs, 3 bucks. Unused converters can be disabled.
    • LDOs 1,2 support up to 400 mA. LDOs 3,4 support up to 300 mA
    • 4 x 4 mm or 5 x 5 mm
    • User-programmable output voltage values.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions about either device.

    Best Regards,
    Sarah

  • Hi Sarah,

I would like to know whether can I get a LDO with 3-4 outputs without buck in that, also it shouldn't be BGA package.
We are trying to design a compact board with less cost.
I would request you to recommend such LDO with current >400mA.

    Regards,
    Irfan

  • Hi Irfan,

Unfortunately we don't have any PMICs with only 3-4 LDOs in our portfolio.
A higher current LDO >400 mA would be harder to find as well.

You can perform a parametric search here to see what devices we have in our portfolio that would best fit your needs,
and you can select what package types you would prefer, LDOs needed, and Iout requirements:
