Dear Sirs and Madams,

We understand that the latest firmware for BQ34Z100-R2 is 0100_02_02.

Therefore, we obtained the following executable file from your website.

Copy the 0100_2_02-bq34z100.bqz file from the folder generated by the executable file to the BQ Studio config folder.

File path : C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config

When you start BQ Studio, you will see that there are two version of BQ34Z100-R2: 0100_02_01 and 0100_02_02.

So I have a question.

We recently purchased a BQ34Z100-R2 from the TI store and the firmware written on it was an old version, 0100_02_01.

In this case, will BQ Studio automatically recognize the old version 0100_02_01?

If I delete the old version 0100_02_01-bq34z100.bqz in the BQ Studio config folder, will it be automatically recognized as 0100_02_02 even though the version written to the device is 0100_02_01?

Hi,

You need to place the .bqz file within the config folder inside the BatteryManagementStudio Folder on your computer.

But your device did not autodetect, so either your board is not powered correctly or your ev2400 is not powered on.

Hello Diego,

Even if the older version BQ34Z100-R2 is delivered, We understood that all I needed to do was write the golden image (.srec or .bq.fs containing the firmware) created with the latest version.
