Tool/software:
Dear engs.
how do you calculate the Mission Profile for the TPS797-Q1 LDO in an automotive application?
Best regards
Hi Fulvio,
Thanks for reaching out.
A mission profile comes from the customer. In order to verify that the device will meet such mission profile, we use the Arrhenius equation. We have a calculator in which the customer conditions are used, and it will calculate based on the given mission profile.

Edgar A.
Hello Edgar, it is my first time with a Mission Profile topic.
I have the customer info regarding the Mission Profile in terms of operative temperature and hours but I don't know how to proceed.
How can I use your calculator (Arrhenius equation) ?
Best regards,
Fulvio
Hey Fulvio,
No problem! I'm sure we can share the calculator via email, but let me check if there is anything else required, but having the calculator will help a lot.
In the meantime, here is an app note related to this topic :

Hi Edgar,
how can I share the temperature and hours with you in a private way? I don't want to share it online.
