The gauge only sends AlarmWarnings() and charging info. It won't send BatteryMode(). The host uC will have to read BatteryMode() whenever it wants to know the RELEARN_FLAG.

Thanks for the attachments. The original question was about if the gauge broadcasts the RELEARN_FLAG. It will not. The host uC must read this actively. The gauge can actively send AlarmWarnings() but not BatteryMode().

Currently, our corrected procedure is as follows: After detecting that this position is activated, if the current battery level is below 15%, discharge will start. When this position is reset to 0 or the battery level is discharged to 0%, it will re-enter the charging state. We are not sure if this procedure is correct?

You'll have to charge the cell to full (gauge detects a full charge) and then discharge the cell so that the gauge can learn capacity. The RELEARN_FLAG indicates that this is necessary. The point is that the gauge can measure how battery voltage changes for a specific load current and that requires that you charge and discharge the battery.
