By entering ROM mode we had this kind of situation and looking for your assistance.:
By using MCU to write bq.fs file to BQ27Z746R1 through I2C.
During the process, the chip successfully entered ROM mode (I2C address changed from 0xAA to 0x16), but could not successfully exit ROM mode for unknown reasons.
The value when reading from 0x0B register was all turn to FF; Under this situation we had changed to EV2400 SMB, 0x08 could be successfully sent, but the BQ27Z746 would not switch to normal mode.
