I am working with the BQ25730 charger IC in my project and facing an issue with the ADC readings:
While reading the input current(IIN) the value received is not as expected. Similarly while reading the battery voltage there is also the same issue of variation. but the battery current reading is same as expected. I here by attaching the register configurations I done to read these values.
- Disabled the Low power mode and watchdog
- Enabled the ADC_CONV,EN_ADC_IIN,EN_ADC_ICHG,EN_ADC_VBAT.
- Enabled EN_IBAT.
Then I read the input battery current , input current and battery voltage. I also notices one more thing while disabling the VBAT and keeping the battery input current and input current reading alone the reading are as expected.
I have kept all other register values and resistor values are as default .
