Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25188, BQ25186
Tool/software:
Current design is using the BQ25100B to charge a 1S1P battery pack and power a BT IoT MCU (with internal regulator, input voltage rage of 2.5 to 5.5V).
Battery pack specs are:
Nominal Capacity: 245 mAh @ 0.2C discharge to 3.0 V
Minimum Capacity: 230 mAh
Nominal Voltage: 3.8 V
Charge Voltage (max): 4.35 V
Standard Charge: 0.5C CC to 4.35 V, then CV to 0.05C cutoff (≈3 h)
Rapid Charge: 1.0C CC/CV to 4.35 V, cutoff 0.05C (≈1.5 h)
Standard Discharge: 0.5C to 3.0 V
Max Continuous Discharge: 1.0C to 3.0 V
Internal Resistance: ≤90 mΩ (cell), ≤180 mΩ (pack, at 1 kHz)
Operating Temperature:
Charge: 0–45 °C
• 0–10 °C: ≤0.2C
• 10–18 °C: ≤0.5C
• 18–45 °C: ≤1.0C
Discharge: –20 to +60 °C
We'd like to add power path, regulated Vsys, ship mode, JEITA, and hardware power reset (long press on button) functions. Found a number of charger ICs meeting these specs, what would TI recommend?
