Hi Ignazio,
Yes it can, either using ballast resistors or using an external op-amp circuit. The ballast resistors has the benefits of easier implementation and lowering the noise according to the number in parallel while the op-amp version has the benefit of much better current sharing and load regulation between LDOs.
We have recently published extensive resources on paralleling using ballast resistors. Please see this collateral:
https://www.ti.com/tool/PARALLEL-LDO-CALC (Let me know if you need the TPS74401 added to this calculator)
https://www.ti.com/lit/wp/sbva100/sbva100.pdf
https://www.ti.com/lit/wp/sbva093/sbva093.pdf
There is also a reference design for this LDO when paralleling using the op-amp technique:
https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidu421/tidu421.pdf
We have higher current LDOs which you may want to evaluate first instead of paralleling this LDO: TPS7A56, TPS7A57, TPS7A85, TPS7A54.
Thanks,
Stephen
