Hello ,

My costumer have a question regarding the transformer usage for the communication between BQ79600 and BQ79731

One channel of the BQ79600 is connected to UI sensor BQ79731. BQ79600 is on LV potential and BQ79731 is on HV potential.

Currently we are using two isolation transformers, it is possible to do this with just one transformer.

If yes on which side, would you suggest the transformer?

I do not recommend using just one transformer for this implementation.

I recommend following the BQ79600-Q1 Design Recommendations found here: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sluaa16, which recommends the following isolation transformers:

HMU1228NL or HM2147NL.
