    Thank you for reaching out. 

    From spec side, with 20kohm Rlim, TPS55288 has 14A minimum average inductor current limit.

    When TPS55288 works in buck/buck-boost mode, Iout equals average inductor current, then Maximum Iout equals 14A.

    When TPS55288 works in boost mode, Iin equals average inductor current, then Maximum Iout equals 14*Vin*eff/Vout.

    From thermal performance side, with Pout>60W, layout should be paid more attention and recommend to use 200kHz fsw. With Pout>100W, external thermal dissipation solution is needed.
