TPS2662: Rflt difference between TPS2663

Hi team,

According to the datasheet (p.29), a resistor (Rflt) connected to the FLT pin should be between 10kΩ and 100kΩ.

Looking at a similar product, "TPS2663", I don't see a recommended value for Rflt.

Is this difference due to the internal circuit differences between the devices?

Hello Kazuki,

You can check tps2663 and tps2663 FLT pin leakage and pull-down resistance in datasheet.

Working wise both are same.

You can use the same pull up resistance used in EVM of TPS2663.

Sorry, I meant the pull-up resistance difference between TPS2662 and TPS2663.

In TPS2663 datasheet, the recommended pull-up resistance is not explicitly mentioned which is different from TPS2662.

Hello Kazuki,

There is no difference /FLT working wise.

TPS2660 datasheet has component selection recommendation for RFLT pull-up.

TPS2663 datasheet doesn't have that section.

Is there any concern from customer?

I meant TPS2662. It was a typo.

FLT mechanism of TPS2662 and TPS2663 are same. Both are of open drain configuration.

My customer is just curious.

Does it mean 10k - 100k Ohm PU resistor is recommended fot TPS2663 as well?

Customer can consider 10K to 100K pull-up.
