Hello,

My customer is looking for DC/DC boost ICs that can support the following conditions.

    CASE1 - Input : Battery 3.7V / 10A, Output : 28V / 7A

    CASE2 - Input : Battery 3.7V / 10A, Output : 5V / 3A

Please recommend the most suitable product among TI DC/DC boost products for each of the above cases.

    Hi JH,

    Please create two thread for two applications. I will support on CASE1 only.

    28V/7A output means around 60A input current @3.7V input voltage. However, you mentioned the input 10A. What is the input current limit here?

    Could you please recommend boost ICs that can support 28V/2A or 3A?

    The customer said they might be able to use a larger battery than the one in the example above.

    Hi JH,

    Even 28V2A output means around 17A average input current.

    We don't have such a converter supporting 17A average input current.

    Please consider LM5155 for non-synchronous boost controller or LM5123 for synchronous boost controller.
