Hello TI partners,

I'm looking for a USB-C PD charging and discharging solution from TI.
My system is the device side allowing charging only. I have two cells of 18650 batteries connected in parallel, and a full charge voltage is 4.2V.
I need a complete reference design that supports both charging and use.

I have read the design guide TIDA-050047, there are some useful designs for reference.

    Hi SK,

    TPS25751 is a good fit from the PD perspective for a DRP battery charging applications. One thing to note is while TPS25751 is capable of up to 100W (20V/5A) source and sink, the source/sink capabilities are limited by the paired battery charger device (i.e. BQ25798 is designed for 45W/60W range). I'll forward this thread to the BQ team for their recommendations from the battery charger side.

    Hi SK,

    Do you require the full 100W range? This will likely be a charge controller rather than an iFET charger IC.

    What is your power path requirement? No power path, NVDC, or direct power path?
