We are currently using the TPS65987D, and there is no USB to IIC chip on our board. We would like to upload the configuration file to the W25Q80 via IIC. Please help us recommend a few compatible FTDI adapters.

    Thanks for reaching out on E2E! Is this a new design? We recommend using the latest TPS25751 for new projects that dont have alternate mode support.

    There are different tools to flash the FW onto the SPI, personally I use the Dediprog SF100 or an Ardvark can also be used just as two examples of how you can flash the W25Q80.
