Hi,

Using BQ25120A, I have sometime an issue when the current reach the termination current (5mA in my example).

the charge reaches 5mA, then stops... but restart at 5mA... and stop ...then restart .... as yo ucan see on the picture below showing the charging current. 

do you have an explanation and a solution to avoid it ?

    Hi,

    Can you please share your test set up? Additionally, can you provide a waveform of VBAT during the oscillation?

    Once the device has terminated, charge shouldn't start up again unless it is reset (such as by toggling the /CE bit in REG03) or if the battery voltage drops below the recharge threshold (typically 120mV below VBREG). I'd like to confirm that the battery voltage isn't dipping below this threshold by looking at the VBAT waveform. Due to IR drops between the BQ25120A and the actual battery cell / battery simulator, it is best if the waveforms are captured close to the pin using the EVM test points.
