TPS552892: TPS552892QWRYQRQ1 pspice for ti simulation failure

Part Number: TPS552892

Tool/software:

Hello,

While simulating the TPS552892QWRYQRQ1 power management IC in PSpice for TI, the simulation ran for more than two hours and then stopped without displaying any graphs.

I’ve attached the schematics, simulation profile settings, and the output it shows when the simulation finishes.

thanks

  • Hi Omar,

Please use this file to run TPS552892 simulation. And modify parameters in it. Don't recommend to create a new blank project to run it. Thanks.

  • Hello,

The issue still persists. The simulation stops, and the configuration window for the simulation profile pops up. I can’t continue the simulation, even if I select Resume Simulation. Also is it normal that the simulation took more than 2 hours? (fast startup is set at 1000).

  • Hi Omar,

I run the simulation and it doesn't show any error. Could you share the Pspice project here and I can help check?

We recommend to skip this and run bench test directly.

  • TPS552892_project_validation.ziphello,you can find the project file attached. the simulation works but for Vout is supposed to be 5V but in the simulation it shows that the ouput is 9V(the simulation profile used was sim3_1). Can you assist?

    Thanks

  • Hi Omar,

I see you still create the project by yourself, it will be difficult for us to find the issue. Could you use the project I send? Do not create new project, just modify components in our example project.
