Hi,

We are currently developing an energy harvesting application where the storage capacitor voltage is monitored, and once it reaches a threshold, power is supplied to a downstream Bluetooth module.

Our most critical requirement is ultra-low supply current, and we are currently evaluating TPS3839 (150 nA typ) as a candidate.
Could you please advise if there are any devices with even lower current consumption, or any alternative devices that would be more suitable for this type of application?

    Hi Conor,

    We have a few other options that would be suitable for this application. TLV840 has an even lower 120nA typical supply current with the same features as TPS3839.

    If separate VDD and sense pins are desired, TPS3899 would be another good option, it has 125nA typical supply current.
