TPS65219: Created a .bin file

Part Number: TPS65219
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

Tool/software:

Hi team,

I tried outputting a .bin file using the TPS65219 GUI tool, but only .csv or .json files could be selected/output.

One more thing I'd like to ask:
Is it possible to change settings via I2C while all configured BUCK/LDO/GPO are in their completed output state?
I suspect this might be programmable using USB2ANY.
Specifically, I want to experiment with rewriting the following registers while the PMIC is in the ACTIVE state:
・ POWER_DOWN_SLOT_0_DURATION_* Register

Best Regards,
Ryu.

  • Hello Ryu,

Unfortunately, the TPS65219 GUI currently only supports .csv and .json file formats.

You would have to convert the .csv data to a .bin format, if needed.

Yes, the  POWER_DOWN_SLOT_DURATION registers can be configured via I2C while in Active state.
These register values will revert to the original NVM value upon power cycle.

USB2ANY can be used to connect to the TPS65219GUI, or any I2C interface you may prefer to use.

    Best Regards,
    Sarah
