TPS61372: TPS61372 Simulation on Webench Power Designer

Hello,

I tried to run the Webench Power Designer to simulate with TPS61372.

The input condition is

Vin 3.135V-3.465V

Vout 5V

Iout 2.1A

Ambient Temp 30C

With this condition, WEBENCH can't design the circuit. It seems that the junction temp is too high? May I know why it is so?

    Hi Miatsu,

    Unfortunately TPS61372 can't support this condition, the current capability/current limit is no enough to support 3.3V to 5V/2.1A, and also the thermal results can't support it, the junction temperature would exceed the maximum operation temperature.
