Tool/software:
Is it possible to simulate load transient response with the TPS631010 in WEBENCH® Power Designer?
I would like to observe the transient response of the TPS631010 using WEBENCH® Power Designer.
However, when I try to access the “Simulation” tab, I receive the message:
“Simulation not enabled for this design.”
Could you please advise why simulation is not available for this device, and if there is any workaround to evaluate transient behavior?
Hi Chie,
Could you use the TPS631000 PSpice model and run with free PSpice for TI? Transition simulation is supported by the PSpice model.

I'm trying to simulate the transient response of the TPS63000 using PSpice for TI.
According to AI search results, I should select "Analog or Mixed A/D" when creating a new project.
However, I can't find this option in the software.
Since this is my first time using PSpice, I'm struggling a bit.
What should I do first?
I have already downloaded the "TPS63000 Unencrypted PSpice Transient Model Package (Rev. A)."
Hi Chie,
Please try to install the "PSpice for TI" as a normal software and ignore the unavailable results from AI.

Hi Chie,
You are welcome. Let's further check in another E2E thread for the PSpice simulation.
