The transient time is expected to be comparable. The magnitude of the transient is affected by change in load levels. For an exact confirmation, we will have to test the exact use case in the lab. It is not possible to include all possible load levels for transients in the datasheet.

Which PCB condition does the JEDEC standard value of 37.8°C/W refer to? Since there is no specific notation, I expect that this value is based on the JESD51-3 standard, which uses a 1-layer PCB. My inquiry is to request the value for a 4-layer board according to JESD51-7.
