Tool/software:
We are using the BQ25883 IC to charge a 2-cell Li-ion battery pack (7.4 V nominal). The circuit has been designed following the datasheet recommendations.
The issue we are encountering is that the battery does not charge when a 5 V USB input is applied. Upon investigation, we found that the REGN pin remains at 0 V. Since REGN is required to power the internal circuits and enable charging, the device is not proceeding with the charge cycle.
