I am developing a BMS project for a high-voltage battery (800V). We purchased an Evaluation Board of the BQ79616 to test the IC features. While reviewing the datasheet, I noticed that the IC does not include current measurement and should be used together with the BQ79656 to obtain this measurement.
In addition to these measurements, I need the BMS to be capable of monitoring the battery’s SoC and the SoH of each cell. However, I could not find ICs that are stackable and provide diagnostics for SoC and SoH. Is there any document that shows which ICs I would need to use in order to design a high-voltage BMS that provides both SoC and SoH?
