TPS4141-Q1: Request for BCI, ESD and CE test report

As with every system level test, performance will depend on what standard they are testing to. It will also be very layout dependent so we will need to keep close contact with the customer through the process, but we have captured for our setup what is needed to pass ESD and CE (CISPR 25 Conducted Emissions) for TPSI2240-Q1 

ESD:

• TPS4141-Q1: To pass >4kV ISO10605, external capacitance is needed

CE:

To clarify, is this referring to conducted emissions? If so, does the customer also need to meet radiated emissions? What class of CISPR25? Will the device be in a metal enclosure?

• TPS4141-Q1: to pass CISPR 25 Class 5 conducted emissions, low-cost x-rated y-capacitors are needed from HV to GND

BCI:

• We currently investigating this and do not have any results thus far. Is there a particular standard the customer is trying to meet? What strength level and pass criteria does the customer need to meet?
