BQ4050: Shutdown command response time

Is there an estimated time for BQ4050 to respond the command?

Because sometimes the customer will send three times shutdown command and then BQ4050 could enter shutdown mode under unsealed.

I am thinking it may be because of the time interval between the first and second command is too short.

Helle Fabio,

There is some overhead on the Gauge FW where there is chance if customer tries to do back-to-back transactions without letting the gauge finish the previous I2C operations that the Gauge will not finish on time. Typically, customers aren't talking to the gauge back-to-back (<250 ms per transaction) since SoC doesn't update every second or so.
