BQ25750EVM: Request for Cadence Design Files, Or Ascii format Altium Design Files

Tool/software:

I am trying to import the EVM Design files into Allegro using the Allegro import tool, however the Altium files are saved as binary rather than ASCII which is required for Allegro's translator to work.
I was wondering if you could please provide/save the design files in ASCII, or better yet as OrCAD/Allegro files?

Additional information - For the Cadence converter to work, it is a prerequisite for the files to use the Imperial Unit System. Thankyou!

I've exported the schematics as Allegro Files and the PCB as a P-CAD ASCII file. Do these files work for you?

Hey Ethan,

I appreciate it, however the files are causing Cadence to crash. If you could please export the files in Altium Ascii I believe that would work best, as then I can leverage the import tool.

ParsysEDA did a video titled "OrCAD Capture Altium Schematic Translator" going over the process.

Hello Evan,

I'm not seeing Altium ASCII as an option. I can only export to P-CAD ASCII or Protel ASCII.

I've included both in the attached zip file. I've also exported the PCB file to a bunch of other formats as well. Hopefully, one of these works for you.

Hey Ethan,

Apologies, I misspoke, specifically the option appears to be in Altium, when you click file, save as, you should have the option to save the file as an Altium ASCII format. Sorry for any confusion I have caused. I appreciate your help with this issue.

Hey Ethan,

Apologies again, cadence is throwing an error stating the files are not Altium ASCII files. Would it be okay to bother you again, about saving the full .PrjPCB with save as, and selecting Altium ASCII. Hopefully that should do that trick.
