Hello,

we are using the TPS2H160 in the following conditions:

OUT1 and OUT2 connected in parallel
output load = 160 uF
Vbatt = 32V
repetition = 1 per vehicle key cycle
lifetime = 29251 key cycles
max ambient temperature = 85 °C
current limiting resistor = 560 ohm

Could you please let us know if you see any concerns with this usage scenario?

Hi Andrea,

This use case looks good.

The only comment I have about paralleling the channels is that the current limiting circuit will limit each channels' current to about 3.5A, so the overall current limit will be around 7A.

Yes, the current is limited to 7A.

Based on the waveform shown below, do you think this use case doesn't impact the device's long-term reliability? Even if the thermal swing shutdown threshold is reached at an ambient temperature of 85°C?
