Can you please clarify what you mean by expected value? I am assuming you are referring to the firmware and silicon version. 

At this moment, we can only provide the reference code, which can be found on TI.com's product page for TPS23861: TPS23861 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

There is only one version of silicon for TPS23861. Please let me know if there are any follow-up questions.

Hi Anagha,

we have just started to work with the device. To check if we are talking to the right device, we read out silicon and hardware with cmd code 0x41 and 0x43. Both registers have some variable bits. So what Iam looking for is a table with available sw revision numbers that can be ecpected. For silicon rev. its only 11100001?

These are our register reads for 41h and 43h. Is the value you are reading for 43h 0b00001?

what we see is a liitle bit different:

0x41: 0x02 = b0000.0010

0x43: 0xE3 = b1110.0011

So we have a newer firmware the same silicon rev as you have...

Do you have a list of valid revisions of firmware and silicon?

Hi Joerg, 

There should only be one silicon revision for TPS23861 so what you are reading is correct. 

I believe the latest version of firmware revised for the 861 device is 0x3. Let me double check and get back to you regarding this.
