TLVM23615: Question about 1.0V output.

Part Number: TLVM23615

Tool/software:

Hello guys,

One of my customers is evaluating TLVM23615 for power supply with Vin=24V and Vo=1V.

The current datasheet says RFBT=10kohm and RFBB=10kohm for 1.0V output.
But in case of these resistors, the output voltage was 2V.

The customer found the following thread for 1V output setting.

 TLVM23625: Settings when outputting 1V

The thread says that the best setting is to short RFBT AND open RFBB, in this way you don't need any resistors and save in BOM.

The customer confirmed the output voltage is 2.4V with the resistor setting (VOUT-FB=short(RFBT=0ohm), RFBB=open(no mount)).

After that, they insert 10kohm between VOUT and FB and confirmed the output voltage is 1V then.

At this moment, they have the following questions.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q.
What is the best setting of RFBT and RFBB for 1V output voltage?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Kazuya.

  • Hello

You will need to use a 10k in the top FB position, RFBT; and open on the bottom.

The devices senses the resistance on the pin and needs to see greater than 5k.

There is a typo in the table regarding the 1V output setting.

    Thanks
