Hi expert,
We are promoting LM5013-Q1 to CosMX. The target EE is Auto 48V BMS. Please help to confirm if LM5013-Q1 can be used in below application. Thanks a lot.
- The LM5013-Q1 would be used to charge 48V battery when jump-start. CosMX want to disable the voltage feedback function of LM5013-Q1 and connect the FB pin to external stable voltage (such as 5V and resistance divider). Because CosMX want the LM5013-Q1 to become a current limiter when charging 48V battery. They used LMR33620-Q1 in 12V BMS same socket. The LMR33620-Q1 schematic as below. Could you help to confirm if LM5013-Q1 can be used in this application?
Besides, customer also want TI to do some test and proof it can work normally. Test request:
- Connect the LM5013-Q1 pin to external stable voltage. Not connect to Vout.
- Vin=53V, Vout=52V, Iout=3A. Load is battery or simulated battery.
- Run continuously for one hour at 25℃, and confirm the final temperature rise.
