Hi Mohamed,
Currently, the voltage into the EN pin is about 0.54V (using 5.5Vin). For the device to enable, at least 0.56V is needed.
The sim uses the max spec, 0.65V. So for an input of 5.5V, the maximum UVLO level, where the EN(max) spec of 0.65V will still be met, will be about 4V with a resistor of 13.5k as RBOT_EN (kOhms).
Thanks,
Elizabeth
thanks for the info. I changed the values as you said. now no results comes out even if it is 100% done.
any suggestions on how to solve this ?
thanks
Hi Mohamed,
It looks like you need to add the plots and traces to the screen. Here's a ppt on how to do that in PSPICE.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth,
normally the plots comes automatically. below is the result I got with
Hi Mohamed,
We set up our sim profiles to show certain traces and plots which appears to the user as "automatic". When a new or different schematic and sim profile is used/created in PSPICE, the user needs to add the desired plots and traces. It is possible that PSPICE reset the traces and plots if the original schematic was drastically altered.
Let me know if this helped
Thanks,
Elizabeth
Hi Mohamed,
If restarting PSPICE doesn't work, you can try to see if the "Display Probe window" setting has been changed.
Select "Edit Sim Profile"
Go to "Probe Window"
Make sure "Display Probe window" is selected
Thanks,
Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth,
I changed that but still no results, should I send you the project folder and you try it on your machine ?
BR,
Mohamed
Hi Mohamed,
Yes, you can send me the project folder, and I'll try to see if I can get it to work on my side.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
Hi Mohamed,
Thanks for sending the project folder. I will get back to you with an update as soon as I have one or at the latest, by early next week.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
Hi Mohamed,
I was able to get the sim to run/show, by adjusting the soft start from .35n to .35u. However, there is some oscillation which requires further debugging. I will get back to you with an update on debugging as soon as I have one or by the end of the week at the latest.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
Hi Mohamed,
I was able to debug the sim. The soft start was connected to ground instead of to VOUT.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
