Need some advice regarding an observation with the BQ25190

We noticed that the I2C locks up easily, if there is a small interruption on the lines.

Most ICs can recover from this or can be recovered by bit banging a clk signal to get the device to release the lines

With the BQ25190 it seems to lock up completely and the only way we can recover is to activate a MR.

Have you come across this issue before or can you offer any advice on how we can avoid a full reset
