Tool/software:
Dear TI Team,
I am working on a high-power DC-DC application for a battery charger, and my requirements are:
- Input Voltage: ~28 VDC
- Output Voltage: 24 VDC (CC/CV mode)
- Output Power: 500 W (scalable to ~1 kW in the future)
- Topology: Interleaved synchronous buck (preferred)
- Control: External MCU (STM32) to manage CC/CV regulation
I have reviewed reference designs such as PMP11282 and LM5117-based designs (PMP30189, PMP30301). However, I am specifically looking for:
- A TI reference design or evaluation board that closely matches these requirements (24 V, ~20 A, CC/CV supported).
- Guidance on implementing a multi-phase interleaved synchronous buck using TI controllers (e.g., LM5117) for this power level.
- Application notes or examples on CC/CV implementation (either analog using current monitor pins or digital via MCU control).
Could you kindly suggest the best TI reference design, evaluation kit, or controller family for this application?
Additionally:
- Can PMP11282 be adapted (e.g., paralleled or scaled) for ~500 W operation?
- Does PMP11282 natively support CC/CV mode?
Looking forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Anand Matta
