TPS61046: Life time expectation and replacement for TPS61046

I am planning to implement the TPS61046 in a long life time product. Is there a god source to the lifetime expectancy for the TI Boost converter. And especially the TPS61046?

Hi Anders,

TPS61046 has passed 1000 hours HTOL test under 125C.

I guess I was a bit un-clear in my question. I terms of lifetime, I was thinking of production lifetime. On the product-life-cycle page you say 10-15 years, and the TPS61046 is already 10years. Should I expect this device to go EOL soon, or is it planed for extended life. My production volume will be low, so I guess that will not affect your decision.

Hi Anders,

TPS61046 is still active and you can use it in your new design. We don't have plan to EOL.
