I would like to evaluate the Daisy chain with the following configuration : use a USB2ANY with a BQ79600EVM to configure the register of the BQ79631-Q1 component

So where can I purchase a BQ79631-Q1 EVM ?

Hi Jerome,

For recommendation regarding having a battery monitor with current capabilities, it is best recommended to check the BQ79731 EVM for evaluation, which is also compatible with the BQ79600.

BQ79731 will have more support during both evaluation and design phases.

Can you share a detailed datasheet of the BQ79731 ? Is there a risk about the product status of the BQ79631 ?

Hi Jerome,

Currently BQ79731 is just the newest pack monitor and would have more support. Using BQ79631 is also fine, its just we have very little stock of these EVMs and in terms of functionality and support, the 7th gen is more suited.
