TPS7B4256-Q1: Cin and Cout Capacitance Rating

In the datasheet of the TPS7B4256 for:

  1. Cin the typical is 1uF but in comment (1) the showed the minimum to be 500nF. Will this minimum take into account, DC vias and temperature derating, tolerances, and aging? 
  2. Cout the minimum is 1uF, but comment (2) says the effective required for stability is 500nF. Is this the minimum taking into account, DC vias and temperature derating, tolerances, and aging?

    Thanks for the question. Here are my comments in blue

      1. Regarding Capacitance it will depend on customer's qual. We have qualified with Max, min, and typical values to get this passed into the datasheet with taking into account, DC vias and temperature derating, tolerances, and aging. An input capacitor is not required for stability; however, good analog practice is to connect a capacitor (500 nF or higher) between the GND and IN pin

      1. Regarding Capacitance it will depend on customer's qual. We have qualified with Max, min, and typical values to get this passed into the datasheet with taking into account, DC vias and temperature derating, tolerances, and aging. For best performance, the maximum recommended output capacitor is 100 µF.

    The datasheet only has a typ value for Cin. Do we have min and max values we can provide?
