BQ24170: The /BATDRV pin status of BQ24170

Hello Teams,

When the charger is charging the battery, what the status will be of pin 19 /BATDRV on the BQ24170?

When the power adapter is plugged in, I want to set the power path to the system and charge the battery at the same time, but the battery should not discharge to the system.

    Furthermore question about the EVM board.

    1) To set the charge current to 4A, can I modify the resistor R30 = 100kohm instead the 232kohm on the EVM board?

    The default setting is 2Adc for fast-charging by R30 = 232kohm and R32 = 32.4kohm.

    So that the VISET will be VREF*(32.4/264.4) ~= 3300mV * 0.122 ~= 400mV

    I(charge) = VISET/(20*0.01ohm) = 2A

    While the R30 changing to 100kohm, the VISET will be around 800mV. The changed I(charge) ~= 4A

    2) For the IDPM, I would to set to 4A as well.

    The calculated V(ACSET) need to be 4A*20*0.02ohm = 1.6V. 

    So that if I change R31 to 32.4kohm would let the V(ACSET) ~= 1.65V

    Are the above modifications correct?
